I have 2 1/2 year old Dexter stacks, 6 out of 24 pockets have bad shafts. Does anyone else have this problem? Stay away from these dryers.

Mine are a little over a year old. The only failure I've had so far is the microswitch on the coin drop. 3 failed out of 12. But no shaft problems yet. My customers really love the Dexters and so do I so far. Have you called Dexter to let them know about this shaft failure? Sounds like a bad lot of shafts. Good luck with this problem. Please post to the board any responses from Dexter. I would like to see what I may be up against if this happens to my dryers. Thanks, Mike

I have one 4 year old Dexter stack and had the board go out recently (which was replaced free), but otherwise, not one problem. I am considering buying more so any comments about the Dexters would be appreciated.

I have had 4 dexter stack's since April of this year. No problems so far. May be a little early to tell though.

Is it possible that the dryers are being over loaded ? Like are they close to some 50# machines.

I think Dexter has a 3/5 year warranty, so you are all set.
My dexter stacks of 10+ years still running strong, after a board and ram and belt. No other problems. My new dexter stacks have been problem free, except for 2 rams and 1 board. All warranty. They are machines, like a car, can't expect them to be completetly trouble free.
