Exploring the option of providing SOME KIND of pick-up and delivery service. We are in an urban area, very dense. There is a need in an area only 4 blocks away, but further than most people will walk. Without running a full shuttle service and the costs associated with such an endeavor, any suggestions for a cost effective way to get people (not just for wash&fold) into the store so that they can do their laundry.

My yellow pages ad includes which bus routes serve the plaza.
The bus route information in the yellow page ad is a great idea.
As far as a pick-up and delivery service, I did provide the service for a while out of my store. It was successful to a point. What I found though was the folks that were already using the drop-off service were the customers who would use the pu/d service. I just couldn't get new customers to use the service. It then started to become burdensome to me because I was the one doing the pick-up and delivery. I discontinued the service basically because I didn't have the time to provide it.
