I am new to the Coin Laundry Industry in which I am putting together a business plan for my new investment -A Coin Laundry Business.
I am at the stage of generating a Breakeven Analysis. I need some assistance with what the Average Fixed Exenses would be and the Cost of Goods Sold so that I can determine my BreakEven point.

I understand so far that income is measured by the Turns Per Day when looking at the Washers. The dryer's income is measured by a certain percentage of the income derived from the washer's income.

What are the Average Fixed Exenses and the Variable Expenses of a Coin Laundromat?

Please help me in this area so that I can put together a solid business plan to acquire the funding necessary.

I also would like to offer wash/dry/fold Drop off and Pick Up services and Dry Cleaning Services that we will send out to a plant and have them returned to our store. I also want to incorporate the Card Swipe machines vs. coins to really stand out in my target area. As well an Internet Cafe that my student customers will really like.

All suggestions are appreciated.

how much of your own cash do you have to invest? This is where most new owners have to decide how much they can afford to loose.

Greater the risk greater the reward... Youre doing the right thing and doing the analysis to see what you can do. Without seeking the numbers and getting your gut feeling and talking, networking with industry people that count you can't and won't ever make that executive decision. Do you have other numbers together in regards to your business plan? I have an excellent spread sheet that may be beneficial to your research, however I may want something in return...

Where are you located in Ohio? My store is in Bowling Green, just south of Toledo. If you want to visit and talk shop let me know.
