I am very disapointed in my speed queen stack dryers. It seems that since I have had them, about 2 yrs, I have constantly had to change faulty thirmisters, faulty gas solenoids and ignition boxes. These in my opinion are not reliable dryers. All parts so far have been covered under warranty. A good parts warranty does not save me when a customer needs a dryer and can't use it because it is out of order waiting for parts; or when a customer has a cold dryer and just leaves pissed off instead of telling the attendant. I still want to see one of these manufacturers have the balls to back up there warranty with parts and labor for the length of the warranty.

If you have had more problems than you should have and you feel it is a manufacturers defect of some sort, contact the SQ regional exec.

We had numerous problems with the maytag
mah 14. Even under warranty, we replaced so many different things, all the door switches, all the pumps (2 or more times), several boards......yada yada. Major bearing troubles just after the warranty went out. Maytag territory manager saved the day. Provided all the parts, frieght, two workers, himself...... with Dave repaired 16 4 year old mah 14 that bearing's needed replaced. Try your rep for some satisfaction. Make them help you!

I have 10 SQ stacks in one store and 15 stacks in another store and have had nothing but excellent performance out of them for the last 4 years.

I have a few that are about 6 years old that have given me no problems also. I feel that SQ has more reliability problems from the NEW two motor stacks.
