I am trying to convince a small hotel to offer my wash-dry-fold service for their customers. I would also handle dry cleaning & shirt pressing, which I would send out. The hotel currently does not offer any laundry service. I would like to make everything as easy for the hotel as possible, and would like to provide them with forms to place in the rooms. Any ideas of where to purchase these forms? Does anyone purchase them or are they all custom made? Any tips regarding hotel laundry?

Also, you'll need to accept credit cards.

Anyone who has commerical account,
How is your experience with commercial accounts?
What service do you provide to commerical accounts?
How do you get the commercial accounts (from hotel, school, companies...)?

The Dryclean and press need asap service. We are a dropoff for a dry cleaner, but he ends up next day or longer. A hotel/motel client will usually need results as quick as possible (ie for that meeting in the morning).
It is a nice idea though, and worth following up on. We have several small motels in the area that send their patrons over to do it themselves (and WDF dropoff too), but we never thought of setting up a subcontracting. I would assume that you'd need to give a small kick-back to the joint (I mean commision).

Thanks Mike. I checked the site but they don't list these forms.

namng99,
We do wash-dry-fold service for serveral commercial accounts including some hair dressers (mostly towels), some Dr. offices (patient robes), some auto detailers (towels), and even a paint-ball club (camo uniforms). We charge the same as for the other wash-dry-fold customers. Most found us, probably from the Yellow Pages or driving by. We also did a direct mailing to all the local hair dressers. We are planing a similar mailing to the local Dr. offices.
I just walked into the hotel in the morning, and talked with the manger.
Commercial accounts are good because the keep the machines busy during weekdays, when there is less coin-op business.

Thanks vernon,
Our dry cleaner provides service in 24 hours (except Sunday). I figured I can offer 24 hour service to the hotel customers, and same day service for laundry.
I talked to hotels about recommending us (or allowing us to advertise). Most don't want to because they have coin-op washers on site, and offer laundry service. Allowing us to advertise would cut into their existing businesses. The hotel which is interested is small, and has water rainage problems so they can not have on-site coin-op washers.

Interesting, Spin_City. Walk into a hotel and talk with a manager sounds difficult, but have more potential than letters I guess. Good job.

Send for their free catalog. There you can see acutual samples of all their different forms, tags, and invoices. Unfortunatly the website doesn't illustrate them.
