Looking to do a quick survey here as to how much ppl are paying for propane delivered to their mats and the location of your business. We are propane dependant for both our hot water and dryers. As of today our price is $1.6485 per gal. in Forks, WA (3yrs ago it was a mere .79 a gal!)

I am in Dubois Wyoming, 82513
my most recent delivery was 240 gallons at $1.395
but with taxes and fees it came out to $1.463
I'm sure most of the town pays more because I am on a high volume agreement of 25 cents over their cost. (I am in the top 5 propane users for over 20 miles )

We average approx 320 gal every 2 weeks here, adding tax to our last delivery brought it to $1.785 plus they've added an additional $2.95 haz mat fee for every delivery.
Thank you for your response

In jacksonville fl it has been $ 1.58 for past 5 months. ? I was told by my service man that lp burns hotter at burner than natural and he has to replace burners every 3 to 4 years . This came up when I asked about converting from natural to lp. bodman

Bodman, that does not sound correct unless you have the wrong orifice in the dryer. It is true that propane contains more BTU per unit, but with a smaller orifice you should be flowing fewer units so that the burner temp should be the same. If you have a natural gas orifice in the units and are using propane you have a significant safety hazard as you are most likely over-firing the dryers.

i average about 450 gallons every 2 weeks. Last fillup was at 1.69 a gallon for propane only minus all the taxes and fees.
Ive brought that down over 4 months from 2.21 a gallon through constant negiation.
