For those OWNERS that have unattended laundromats do you post a Emergency phone number on your wall. Do you use your cell, beeper or home number? If not how do people contact you if they have a problem? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I have my beeper number on the wall and also put a code for them to enter. This way I know which store they are calling from. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Jeff, I use a service called ureach which has a toll free 1-866 number for my customers to call. ureach will either forward the call to my cell phone, send a text e-mail to my cell phone or send a e-mail to my computer. I have been using it for about the last year and a half without any problems, always have a quick response when I get a page from when the customer calls usually less than a minute.
You can find them on http://www.ureach.com
It cost me about $7.00 a month but its worth the piece of mind.

We have a guard service that opens and closes. We post their 800 number and then the guard service calls us. It has worked pretty well. We don't get many calls. the ureach.com sounds interesting tho if we ever decide to get rid of the guard service.

In our area, we can have a second phone number, with a different ring, (called RingMaster) added to our home phone service for $4 a month. I post that number. For emergencies, I tell them to call 911.

Does anyone else use a guard service to open and close?
Would the guard service wait until the last customer left? and prevent someone from throwing in a new load?
Is anyone still using uReach.com? or have any other similar services or experiences?
