With all the information coming out in the news about pert chemicals etc...and I believe too that California is phasing out the machines that use this chemical (over the next 18 years?). Given that; how would someone that was looking to purchase a Laundromat with dry cleaning, value the equipment? Before long all machines may have to be updated or go to Wet Cleaning. Is it fair to say that the old equipment has little or no value?

Are you really worried about something that might happen in 18 years. Do you know how many elections will take place in that time. What they say now will be different. BTW anything in service now will be in need of replacement in 18 years anyway.

For future reference, the chemical you are talking about is Perc, short for perchlorethylene. Everybody and every situation is different, but one of the happiest days in my life is when I sold my drycleaning business. Coin laundry is much easier. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
