I just saw this discussion on FARK about university laundry that uses a card system to email customers when their laundry is done. http://forums.fark.com/cgi/fark/comments.pl?IDLink=2580743 WARNING some of them use some foul language compared to the normal business decorum we use here on the CLA board

Personally, I think that a call or text message to their cell phone would be better than an email.

My cell company (Sprint) has an email address that messages sent to it end up as a text message. If I remember right it is 8005551212@messaging.sprintpcs.com

I use it quite often and I believe all the major phone companies have the same thing.
