Hi: I am looking to replace some Huebsch single pockets with Dexter stacks. I am looking very strongly at purchasing the Dexter Stacks model #DL2X30Q. I like the airflow and overall construction. I want to make sure I am making a wise choice. I would appreciate any positives or negatives from CLA members who have Dexter Stacks. Thanks

I am no CLA member, but I did purchase 12 Dexter Stacks 8 months ago. They work fine overall and I really have no specific complaints. Many things however bother me about the dryer. I have lost two motors and one small bearing on one of the drive pulleys. The roof is covered with lint and we clean the traps almost daily. They are built simply which is good, but also cheaply which is bad. The electronic panels seem flimsy and I honestly feel as though I should have purchased ADC. I'm just hoping they don't completely turn to crap in the next 10 years.
The more people I talk to, the less I like my dryers.
The only dryer that I have NEVER heard anything but good about is ADC.

I purchased 12 Dexter stacks about 3 years ago. I have not had any problems at all. I do perform the maintenance as specified on the owner manual. I owned a couple of older ADC 30# pocket dryers from the 1980's, had alot of computer board problems, kept replacing them every 6 mos.
I really like how the Dexter's are built. Just my $.02
