average cost of constuction

i was wondering what the average cost of construction was ,based on an 1800 sq ft. store. not including the equipment, of course. just getting it machine ready.i was told around $138,000. is that right? or are they ripping me off.

There are way too many variables to even give you an educated guess. You should get more estimates and make sure you are comparing apples to apples.
