After many requests, we've turned on the ability to post messages to your posts. Here's how it works:

As stated in the FAQ here, http://www.coinlaundry.org/ubbthreads/faq.php?Cat=0#image first you must have your image uploaded somewhere that is publically accessible. At the bottom of this post I've listed several FREE image hosting services where you can upload and host your image.

Next. When posting a new message you will notice to the lower right under the "Instant UBB Code" header a box with UBB commands. Pick "Image". A Box will open up and you can enter the complete URL of where your image is being hosted. Click on "OK" and the code will automagically be inserted into your post.

When you preview your post you should be able to see your image! I choose the good looking CLA Logo /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Please be reasonable with the images you post /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

FREE IMAGE HOSTING - Most of these will resize the photo for you as well! There are many more services out there. This is a sample list. CLA does not specifically endorse any of the services listed below.

That is great, I will give it a try. I might also suggest flickr.com as another great place to store photos. I am becoming somewhat of an expert as I recently got a Nikon D40 digital SLR camera. I have taken a bunch of my photos and decorated my store with them. Here (if all works well) is one that I recently took and is adorning the walls of my store:

I entered this just by using "img" tags around the url that I typed in manually.

Do we want to set max sizes for pictures, or is any size acceptable:

Mike,

I uploaded my picture to: www.imgplace.com (http://www.imgplace.com) per your instructions. That gave me about 6 different codes for the picture which I printed out.

Then I went onto the BB, selected "Post" and clicked on the "Image" square of the "Instant UBB Code". That gave me a window to type in my picture's code. With 6 to chose from, I used the second code of the two codes in the "Forum Or Message Board" code box. (The first code in that box did not work for me) When I clicked "Okay" on that window, it put the typed code into my post.

Then I added text and title (Bald Eagles in my Tree Last Winter). Upon review of my post but prior to entering it into the BB, I was able to view my picture. Only problem ... the picture is too large. I guess I'll figure out how to fix that in time.
