My insurance company not offering a renewal of policy due to a fire cliam on my policy last year!! this seems unfair to us, they just want us to pay the policy and don't let us to cliam, once you file a cliam, then next year they won't let you renew it!! any comments? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif

They have been losing their butts in the stock market, so they are trying to cut their losses, by putting the burden onto their customers. (cancellations and premium increases) It sucks, but collectively they have us by the (you know what) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif

Mine has done the same. I had a burglary at one store and they renewed this last year. Then this year I had a small water damage claim at another store. They sent me this letter that they would not renew the policies at either store. They are set up as separate s-corps and one should not have anything to do with the other. My agent says a lot of companies are doing the same to cut losses. I just got approved through the CLA. The price was actually less than what I was paying before.
