I have a huebsch jt30cg. The problem is the gas won't come on when you drop the quarter. Now that tells me that it is probably the switch that fires up the gas. What i need to know is what it is called and what it looks like. I was not given a manual and the web site does not help me. can ya'll?

Yes, it could be the heat switch on the timer, assuming that your have the manual (greenwald) timer. If that's not the problem, try checking your airflow, and airflow switch. The best thing that you can do for yourself is get the model and serial number of you dryers, and either have your distributor, or contact the manufacturer, and get the appropriate service manual for your equipment. If possible try to get to a service school, where they'll go over the entire operation of the equipment in detail. Good luck.
