What size PVC is typical for a laundromat for water comming in and wast water going out. Is there a rule of thumb?

2" water lines are usually more than adequate for most laundromats. Many areas do not allow PVC to be used on supply lines, check your code. Sewers are typically either 4" or 6".

So 2" copper comming it and 4"~6" PVC going out? Is this correct? As washers are always in the center of the mat, is the normal configuration for a run to be from false wall from utility and then between back to back wahers?

Thanks,
Sarah
