I am considering selling my daily driver and buying a van for my business to advertise. I want to wrap it in advertising info. I thought about just wrapping my truck but something about a delivery van legitimizes your business imo. I do some PU&D and would like to grow this for 2008. Anyone having success doing this?

Go for it ! I would do it but live in a gated community and vehicles with sinage must be parked in garage at all times . I will be buying a smaller car looking hard at a mini cooper. real fun to drive , good on gas , and easy to park or honda 2000. . Once i do that I plan on installing 4x8 sheets plywood on the side of my pickup truck and advertise there . and park it by the street for all to see . That store has little road visibality. Recycle is the way to go.

Bruce,

Before doing this you may want to check into the proper licenses and insurances needed to have a delivery vehicle.

You don't want any surprises.

I drive a crago van now,the 3 laundromats and arcade business pay for the van and upkeep.
Since I am in a cash business,I always warry about people know I may have money in my van,no way I will advertis.
I know 2 laundry owners in my area do pick up laundry and customrs, their insurance companies told them as long as they(the owner) drive the car,no extra insurance fee, unless they want to buy more insurance,if they hire a driver to drive the car, they will have to buy extra insurance.
