What is the best way to go with a payphone in a laundry? Should I buy my own or what are the other alternatives?

I have others put the phones in, and get 50% of the net profit. 30-40% is more likely, but you can deal. Check with the utility regulators in your state, you may have to buy a special license to own your own phone. Here in FL it is $100 plus a yearly renewal. It was easier to get a payphone company to split profits. A good location produces about $100 a month, the profit is about $50, then slpit that.
