Hi!
I am looking for someone to recommend a good POS station. Currently I still use good old reciepts, but it makes management so difficult and obviously it doesn't provide customer database, any kind of statistical info, etc. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
If there is anyone already using one of those new and fancy POS stations - please post.
Thank you. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I have the Smart system, www.smart4me.com (http://www.smart4me.com) Three stores, had about 3 years. Works well. Haven't compared to others since I purchased, so I don't know what is the latest n greatest. Please message for any specific questions. Thanks, paul
PaulP,
Would you mind share with me how much to setup everything? Do you have security camera link to it too?
thx,

It is about $5,000 for the pc, thermal receipt printer, tag printer (for tagging dry cleaning), touch screen monitor, bar code reader, credit card wedge, software and one year of warranty and support. After that, the warranty is about $500 per year, and covers all the hardware and support. It comes with pcanywhere, so I can connect to the stores from home or my laptop on the road. That comes in really handy when I'm at home with the kids and the new attendant is having a problem using the system. I solve it in 5 minutes, rather than an hour of travel up the store... Thanks, paul

Thanks for the info. Wow 5k is pretty heavy. I am currenly looking into Winfotinto 2.0. Its only $600 for the license, but of course you have to buy all equipment separatly....
