I am starting a fluff and fold at my coin laundry. I would like to install a drop box for the hours I don't have an attendant. Does anyone know of a company that sells them large enough to meet this purpose? I can't seem to find anyone. How have other people solved this problem? I am considering making one. How big should I make it? Thanks.

Rob,
My mat is unattended and I don't do WDF so my experience is limited in this area. But, I don't think I would like a drop box for drop off. What happens if a couple of customers don't use a bag? How would you tell the laundry apart? Or if there is 4 bags and 3 customers? Since you don't know which bags belong to the same customer you would then need to wash them separately, thus costing you more money. I suppose you would need some kind of drop off tag that the customer needs to fill out and tie to their bags.
Don't you weigh the clothes when they first come in when the customer is present?
If something is stolen, who has responsibility? You are the customer?
I would post a sign that states what your drop off and pick up hours are and stay attended during those times.
Hopefully someone else has done this and can give you some good advice on how to successfully do a drop off drop box.
Duane.

There was a company at the Clean Show that offered WDF drop boxes - I don't have the info w/ me right now, but send me an email to josh@squeakyclean.us and I'll make sure to get back w/ you regarding that info.
