Plan on about $125 per square foot. Of course it depends on a number of factors, but that'll give you a ballpark number.

Excluding all of this, so you are building from the ground up? $125 per sq/ft is high on my recomendation if you have a location to lease (since you said excluding lease) I am building my mat at about 70 per sq ft. Excluding lease but including equipment, if that more like around $55.

The out of pocket will be for anything that can not be repossesed. Plan on about 30% of your own cash, 50% if you really want to be successful. For a rough number maybe use $55 a SQ Ft needed in cash, plus the building

The finance people will ask for a down payment on what they finance. Usually to cover things they cannot or don't want to take back, like bulkheads.

Hello, I was wondering you were telling me that you are building a laundromat for $70 per square feet. I am doing a business plan and I am having a terrible time estimating construction costs, specifiaclly...1) remodeling and interior design, 2) signage, 3) plumbing, venting, and electric. Can you or anyone break this down and give me some general estimates. I plan to lease a 3,000 square foot area where parking is provided. Thanks
