Marketing idea- Door hangers

Anyone having any success with advertising on door hangers? I just finished these and ordered 5000. I had an art guru (martybee_98@yahoo.com) build the image for $250 and then I sent the file to gotprint.com and they print it and ship it back to me. Total cost with shipping was .16 cents per door hanger. Now I just need to beat the street and get to hanging them.

A mat in Lawton, OK put out less than 1500 and got back 60 so far. 60 customers spending $500 per year is $30,000 gross. I like the ROI on that /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Looks very professional and should be effective. I'm not an expert but I would put an expiration date on it to keep people from making mega-copies and using forever.

Just wondering, what are they printed on? Are the coupons easy to rip off?

I do door to door marketing with fliers at least two times a month. So far has been working.

I did door hangers for 7 straight months and they work better than anything else I've tried. I mailed post card, give aways, free resume class, free computer class and banners. Every time i do door hangers i get about 30 new customers that respond, i usually do 3000 to 4000 at a time and i print them myself. There not as nice as yours but they get the job done and i print them for about 6 cents each and i can doo them in 3 hours.

Are any of you unattended stores? If so, do you put any type of promotion, drawing or coupon on your flyer? For those of us who are unattended, we are always looking for ways to promote since we really can't do coupons. Any thoughts, suggestions????
