Corresponded with them by e-mail - filled out an online form - last I ever heard from them. Wrote them several e-mails and never heard back. Who in their right mind would deal with this company that won't even reply when you contact them to do business with them. Has anyone actually gotten them to place ads in their mat or are they totally bogus?

The same thing happened to me - I won't be doing business with them either if they ever come around the bend and actually start producing.

Dear Howard and Trek,

I have only recently been made aware of these posts you made some time ago and I wanted to bring the terrible service that you received to explanation and conclusion for you.

The Adlid concept was produced in the late 90's between a poster company and a sales house. Unfortunately, in my opinion, both companies ran the operation and innovation badly with little concern to Return on Investment or case studies for the clients that opted in.

Our company, have made serious adjustments and invested into the Adlid programme which is much more relevant today that it ever has been due to "Media fragmentation" and "pull factors" now concerning the entire Advertising Industry in the UK.

The lack of service you received from the previous company's involved is not excusable in the least.

By way of explanation of their bad service I suspect they decided not to engage with you because the Adlids service is only available in the UK and that the minimum starting price is £28,000 for 2 million lids.

Why they didn’t have the decency to explain this at the time is beyond me.

I hope this thread sheds some light on the previous management of Adlids and your questions. Can I also reassure you that the appalling service you received will not occur to anyone whilst Adlids resides with us.

Feel free to email me any time for any information on our contact details at www.adlids.co.uk (http://www.adlids.co.uk)

Wishing you all future success
D
