Guys,
This time of year, I like to review what I've accomplished this year and reminisce about years gone by. With that in mind, do you remember when ...
1. A coin slide accommodated only 1 or 2 coins.
2. Laundromat CCTV cameras were all fake.
3. Frigidare toploaders had windows and jet agitators.
4. A changer only changed halves and quarters.
5. Speed Queen toploader pumps had to be greased.
6. Huebsch dryers had 1 motor and Ametek frontloaders had 2 motors.
7. Maytag toploaders were started with a plastic ticket that dropped into the coin box.
8. A Bock extractor removed excess water (and made a lot of noise) prior to drying.
9. A micro processor was the dwarf who served you with divorce papers.
10. A cell phone was used by inmates to call home.
11. A "golden dollar coin" was made of chocolate and encased in gold foil.
Okay. Add some of your memories.
