Have several gen 4's that I picked up used and they run fine but the door does not lock. Is the solenoid or any of the micro switchs the likely cause and how should I troubleshoot.

Check the voltage at the solenoid. You should have 110 Volts DC.
If there is no voltage check the 3 micro door switches for continuity. If they are working see if you have 110 Volts AC to the capacitor circuit board.
Don't worry about the capacitor they hardly ever go bad but they will bite you if your not carefull.
If you are not getting 110 VAC to the circuit board call Wascomats tech line and they will be able to help you.
