Non skid surface flooring

Putting new floor in.

In a recent discussion talked about ceramic and porcelain tile. Though porcelain is better it may not always be a through color tile it may be just a glaze. My question was more on slickness of tile. I found a nice porcelain tile with color all the way through and a pei hardness of 5 for $1.88 per square. This is the same tile claimed to be used in Chevron Stations but the tile does not have much texture to the surface. Price, color, quality of tile is all there just concerned about slickness. I ask what the ASTM is on the tile and no one knows what that is.

Any help on skid/slipperiness of tile greatly appreciated.

Check with the manufacturer of the tile, my porcelain tile has a higher coeficient of friction when wet than when dry.
