Hello,

I'm new to your BB and I'm very impressed w/ all the information for washaterias and coin operated laundries. My father about 10 years ago bought a used one, and made some good profit off it it. But it was just too time consuming for him because he also worked full-time.

I'm very clueless about how to start up one and I just needed some suggestions or advice on what steps I need to take. I have thought about buying an existing one, but:

What type of price should I be looking at when buying one? What type of loan should I apply for?
Any questions to ask the buyer before purchasing?

I'm interested in starting one up in FL or TX. I would like to buy a coin-operated laundromat so I won't have to hire any employees to watch over it. Is that a good idea? Please help me out w/ whatever you can. Thanks.

Hello,

Buying an existing mat is almost always less risky.

Send me an e-mail and I can forward some info that might help you a little.

Duane.
