I just started looking around too. First thing I noticed was the time didn't make sense. Then I noticed the time is in Greenwich Mean Time (just like flight planning). Greenwich is in England and that's the point for international time. No more local time apparently.

You can go to 'User CP' and then 'Edit Options' to reset your default time zone. Unfortunately, the previous setting for all users didn't import properly. But the default for new users and guests will be Eastern US.

I like the "new" look. Question: will this new bb have the same capability to highlight new unread posts as the old one did and how or when can we use the avatar function?

When you are browsing the home page and categories you should see a different color icon next to new posts. You can also use the 'New Posts' link at the top of the page as well.

We'll post more information about the Avatars in the coming days.
