We're looking for ways to increase our revenue at our single location (isn't everyone?).

Figuring that successful promotions are the key to this, if you've got a promotion success story, we'd like to hear it! What have you done that worked well, even suprisingly well?

A few ways you could help is to tell us:
> what service were you promoting? (we think expanding our wash & fold with pickup and delivery could be especially good)

> what marketing vehicles did you use? (direct mail, group coupon mailers, door hangers, Yellow Pages, Blue Brothers car/mike routes /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif, etc.

> who did you market to? (anyone, seniors, vacationers, apt. dwellers, etc.)

> why do you think it worked?!

Thanks for sharing your success stories and letting us know what we can to start with something we're pretty sure will work the first time around! (You could even tell us what didn't work.)

All the best.

The best I have seen is a nice looking sign, a presentable storefront with open windows. Once inside, a clean mat with newer, working machines that are priced reasonable. Everything else is a waste of money, except signing up for the 5 STAR@ program and running some TV commercials, this is what CLA says works best..
I think you either have a good mat or not, it is location and equipment and shape of the mat put in the right place.
The best programs I have seen, and used, are major remodels of good mats to make them better mats.
that can lead to a 30%-50% increase. If you have a new mat and have been open for more than a year, you pretty much got the market share you going to get. People go to the closet mat near them that serves thier needs, not becuase they saw a coupon or an ad. Some peoples' needs are greater than others.
If you want to boost revenue, raise your prices. That is the easy way.
