Is here anyone who did successfully negotiated with Landlord and got reduced rent nowadays?
Due to economy downturn, revenue drops, so what if I send letter to landlord to reqesust rent adjustment? what normally landlord responds?
my lease expire in 2 years, but I want to re-new it after this lease. If I request rent adjustment, does this impact re-new of lease? it dosn't matter?
Thanks,

worst case is "NO" so go for it. I was able to reduce from $1670 to $1502. but it took 2 months of negotiation. I was never late on payments. good luck.

Remo.. thanks for letting us know where you started and where you finished, but can I ask what did you ask for initally? 10% reduction and settled on what you got? what were issues during negotiations?

they asked me to provide evidence of my claim. I told him that business was very slow.
(and it was slow) Told him that I could pay only half. But 2 weeks ago, one of my nieghbors (pizza) closed business. I think timing was in my favor.
