I just had a customer call me from one of my unattended mat's today, (complaing his comforter did not get clean), after trying to figure out what went wrong with my newer Huebsch 50# washer, the elderly man had put bounce dryer sheets into washer detergent compartment #2.

Yes that is right, he used No Detergent & bought a box of bounce dryer sheets from my soap machine & put them into the top soap compartment.

This is a first for me, in all the yrs I have been doing this, I have Never seen/heard this one before, have any of you?

Never had that happen,

1 time I watched a lady take her comforter out of a front load washer after it had finished, and proceed to stick it into another front load washer and start it up again and then walk out.
When she came back, she was very upset that the comforter was still wet.
She thought it was a dryer.

Damn, thought some of my customers were not too bright (I mean stupid but my wife said I can't say that anymore).

Sometimes, its a good thing.

I told one lady she could put everthing in one 80# and to use about half as much soap because we have soft water. She spent about 2 hours prespotting the clothes with spray n wash, then used an 80, two 60's, and a 40. After the cycles finished, she decided to wash them 3 more times to get all the soap and prespotter out. She spent seventy-two bucks instead of the $8 I suggested.

Mike,

I use to own a laundromat where I had a weekly customer who used about 12 top loaders. Everytime she came in, she'd load those washers and run them. Then, without unloading them, she'd run them a second cycle. We called her Mrs Clean for obvious reasons.

Had elderly gentelman load a top with jeans, added detergent and clorox, them proceeded to start the machine. After it finished he brought his clothes to me very upset because the washer put white spots all over his blue jeans.

Hopefully you gave him his money back, those pesky toploaders do that all the time. LOL
