Does it always trip in the same place in the cycle? Does it trip during agitation or during spin, or both? Does it trip the moment the spin or agitation starts, or after a few seconds or more of agitation or spin activity? If it trips immediately, you may have a short in the wiring harness or timer. If it trips after running for a little while, you probably have a motor that is dying. Is water getting into the wiring somewhere (motor, or the control tray)?

See if you can run a cycle with the motor un-plugged. (The drum won't agitate or spin, but if the rest of the cycle runs normally, and without tripping the breaker, then you probably have a bad motor.)

If it's a single phase machine, it could also be a spin capacitor.

We all thought the drum was empty of water when this washer was tripping the breaker? Hope you have not done any damage to motor.
