Need interesting laundry factoids, stories

We're thinking of "bonus offers" that we can offer customers who try our wash & fold services for the first time. We could offer "the first 10lbs FREE!" for example. OR... maybe we could offer a "Free Report on...

> the 10 best reasons to use wash & fold
> the new revolution in personal services
> 10 funny laundry stories

You get the idea. For well-to-do wash & fold clients, getting them interested in INFORMATION maybe more effective than other offers (and cheaper than 10lbs FREE).

Do you have (or know where we can find) these kinds of articles, laundry factoids, funny stories, etc., etc. that prospective wash & fold clients might be interested in?

One factiod" come to mind is an article I read some time ago, some survey was done, and doing laundry was lower than cleaning the bathroom on that list. Maybe your promotion could be "let us do your laundry so you have time to clean your bathroom" or something like that.

To get WDF going you can offer less per lb for a limited time (no additional paperwork and
it's easy to manage). If you run the first 10 lbs free you may literally be doing WDF for free
for those customers coming in with 10 lbs or less. We do not have any factiods and such to
pass along.
