can any one tell me what i need to record cameras to computer i have cams can i use computer or recorder witch is better? thanks

Search this forum for "DVR" and you will find several posts on this subject. If your cameras are not too old then you should be able to incorporate them into a DVR system (Digital Video Recorder). If your cameras are black and white then upgrading to color cameras would be beneficial.

seach google.com for security cam also you will find many options. I used www.123cctv.com (http://www.123cctv.com) for a couple installs, they have upgraded thier video card now so you need a strong computor to run it, but it has bells and whistles.
