We are in a small city, loads of apts and 3 deckers around us. We are well known for an excellently clean store which brings in folks from NON Innercity who pass several lmats to get to us because they love how clean we keep it (amongst other things too - we have a great friendly staff). We have a nice ad in one of the phone books and we've done lil local papers with a coupon, we've also done Valpak. Not happy with the "new" customer results and want to do something else - maybe cable TV or direct mail. Has anyone had great luck on something or these that could share? We do great specials for our customers, we are looking to get in new customers.
Help, sales are slower than we want!!!! Once they are in our store, they love it.

thank you, what kind of "deal" works for you to attract new customers? We're done "Free Wash- Double loader" anyday and many of our own customers brought it in. Not as many new customers as we wanted.

THE BEST was My pick up truck parked out by road with signs 6' by 2' on top of the side rails ad DOLLAR WASH . with arrow pointing my way. second best ad was to drive up to a mat in a black ford cruiser dressed up as homeland security and walk into my competitions mats just cruise around carrying a clip board looking offical. the illegals will run for the hills and to your mat .
