attendant didn't check pockets before wash... I have a sign up that pockets need to be check for walk-in customers so what's the best appropriate action? We tried rewashing it in hot water with tide + clorox2

Scrape off all the excess crayon. I'll assume you don't have an iron handy so we'll skip that. Use WD40, spray both sides. Place it face down and treat it from the backside.l Blot with paper towel and let stand till its dry. Wash in hot water and appropriate bleach.

You can also also add baking soda. Or rewash with bleach or use an enzyme detergent or spotter to treat and wash in hot water.
