Dan,
I think what you are talking about may be put on with a marker. I would check with a crafts supply store or even a store like Walmart. My kids draw pictures on our windows at home with markers during the holidays. It looks like paint but just wipes off with Windex and a paper towel.

Why paint if you can stick. Go with cutted and ploted sticking letters. It is clean, easy to stick, easy to remove. Find an advertising company to help you. Sholud not cost you too much. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

They do sell special markers in different colors for marking on glass windows. Check with an advertising supply, or ask a local new or used car dealer where they get thiers. I think that I may hsve even seen them for sale in the grocery store.

If I remember right it is shoe polish/shine they use ( car dealrs)

Can't hurt glass. And ammonia will take off anything.
