store rehab

Hi All,
I am about to start rehabing an old run down store.

I would like to add some color to the laundry and not sure what color would be good
for the laundry. Currently it is white (used to be, I think) and I would appreciate
anyone's input if you change your store's color..

I've used a colour called Bagel by Benjamin Moore (do you guys have those?). It is a yellow, very clean and still bright but without the harshness associated with some of the yellows you see out there.

My trim is done in a colour called Smokehouse (I have to check the name) which is a dark blue/grey/purple.

I painted my walls yellow as well. I opened over 15 months ago and I still hear alot of postive comments from people on how bright, colorful, cheerful, clean and welcoming my mat is.... I also have some brightly colorful graphic on my walls as well.

When exploring the idea of opening a laundromat, one thing that I kept feeling as we walked into so many mats was how dull and uninviting that they were. Only one mat that I walked into was bright and colorful it was painted with yellow and blue walls. From that day foward I knew yellow was going to be the color for my mat, after I talked my wife into it of course. ;)

One of my places is yellow and blue and the customers really seem to like it. The other place is 2 shades of blue with green accent that is color matched to the decals on the washers and is by far my favorite. :)

My favorite of my three mats is done in all white with a 10 inch light blue stripe around the whole mat at the top. All trim around doors and dryers is also done in this blue.
