Speed Queen E FL error message

One of my SQ SCN040's is giving me an error message of "E FL" which means that the fill level is not met within 10 minutes of fill step. So I've determined that this is because someone filled the machine with synthetic pillows that absorbed all the water.

Question is how do I get rid of the message and get the machine back up and running?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, any thoughts on how to get my hands on a service manual for my machine?

Have you tried rebooting the processor? Just turn off the circuit breaker and turn it back on. That might make the error message go away.

I doubt that the pillows would cause that error. If the switch is not satified due to a lack of water, it will just call for more till it is. Have you checked the pressure hose to make sure it is not clogged up?

I'll be working on the machine later this evening as Sunday was way to busy to start pulling apart the bulk head. :D

Z, what do you mean by the "pressure hose?" Water coming into the machine?

Its the hose that runs from the drain box to the pressure switch. It has a 90 degree boot where it meets the drain. Remove it and scrape out the goo. I usually pull the hose off completley and rinse it with pressure from a sink fawcet.

Also check the drain valve for a bra wire or something that may be preventing the valve from closing.

Thanks for all the feedback. Turns out it was a simple as turning the breaker off and on, but I'll check the drain valve later tonight.
