So, boating and fishing is a passion of mine. About a week ago I fell off the back of my boat... No, the boat wasn't in the water... The fall broke my arm and cost me my front teeth. Needless to say, my plans to fish the Oregon Tuna Classic this weekend were dashed!

I did manage to hand off team captain duties to a friend, and it seems the boys did pretty well for a rookie, impromptu crew of sport fishermen!

Official announcement here (http://www.ifish.net/board/showpost.php?p=3206207&postcount=1).

Note that this tournament series is a qualifier and can earn the overall winner an invitation to the IGFA world offshore tournament in Cabo...

Go! Team Green Lightning Laundry!

Yes Case, Sorry to hear you got hurt.
But keep your chin up...it could have been worse. I just lost a neighbor this weekend who fell off a ladder while working on a friend's house.

Oh, I'm doing fine... A pair of root canals today and a pair of pins in my arm tomorrow and I'll be on the mend nicely. The real point of my post was to brag about the great showing our ragtag band of tunaholics made...

If anything, I've learned a few things from the incident:
- I'm glad I have 2 money factories running on auto pilot.
- I'm glad my wife's employer values her enough to provide such great insurance (no thanks to current political trends)
- I'm glad I didn't hit an inch higher or lower...could have lost much more.
