How general is too general?

I'm preparing a marketing plan for an existing facility and the info I've found seems to be to general to make a good assumption. Is last year's pro forma sufficient to calculate a good estimate? Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

what exactly are you planning? An exsiting mat has a customer base, are you planning advertising or a remodel as your marketing plan?? As for an answer, last year is good numbers to work use.
