I have a 1975 Milnor washer 30015CWE/ABE which stopped pumping out. Probably a relay; but I was hoping someone might have a Manual. We just purchased the store a couple of years ago and this machine has been quite reliable. I would prefer some sort of guide before I jump into it. If it's a simple, fix it's worth keeping it running. We wash Horse Blankets which are extremely dirty, but you meet a lot of interesting people.

mnorthey,
Unless your Milnor is really special, these washers generally have a gravity drain with a pinch-tube style drain valve. Sometimes the drain valve can hang up and fail to open when it's supposed to open. Remove the rear covers and look in there about 8" above the floor level and you should see the valve. With the power off, try wiggling the valve guide pins to see if it drops open. If it's already open, it won't drop.
If it's not the valve, the drain line could be plugged up ... especially considering the fact you've been washing horse blankets. Disassemble the drain line as much as you can and inspect it and clean out any clumps of hair, etc.
By the way, the model 30015 designation means the basket is 30" x 15" in size.

mnorthey,
So tell us ... did you get your Milnor to drain? I'm curious as to what was wrong with it ... not that I ever want to own a Milnor again.

There is no pump in a Milnor. mid 70's probably has the Dependo motorized drain valve...take it apart and remove the sluge. Older Milnors have the squash tube, except for them becoming magnatised...they are a flawless working piece. I've got 7 mid 60's mechanical relay type Milnors and two computerized ...guess which ones I work on most....yup computer.
