It's funny you should ask. I have not dealt with this individual or company, but would be happy to share some thoughts about my experiences with similar dealings. Recently I purchased $20,100 worth of frontloaders from Steve & Joe of NY Laundry and to sum it up, a very poor experience. I intend to post my full experience in the week to come if I can find time. I will tell you for now that my installer has shared several horror stories with me about his experience with other owners and the purchase of used machines from out of state New York. A very recent story involves a man who purchased 22 toploaders described as 5-6 years old for around $10,000 shipped from a New York outfit. Upon arrival my installer identified the majority of these machines as junk and discovered through serial & model numbers that they were indeed more than 15 years old. The purchaser, of course had no recourse and ended up scrapping all the machines and quickly ordering 22 NEW toploaders to complete his project. How's that for trying to save a few bucks. I honestly can't figure why anyone would buy used tops, but I wish you luck.

Stay tuned for my full report of my dealings with NY Laundry of New York. I am very anxious to get it written and posted here since in our initial conversation some months ago they used the Coin Laundry Journal / Association as a reference, stating that they do alot of good business through them and the association would be happy to report that they have a clean record. LOL.

This would be very interesting to hear, as there are a few on coinwash.com that rave about NY laundry. I would be more inclined to believe what you say, as my installer has warned me on several occasions to avoid those guys like the plague.

Thanks for the heads-up. But this outfit from Buffalo seems reliable. I guess I should just go new...save the hassles of having to deal with used machines.
