Mega Wash franchise

Considering building a laundromat. Read the book by Emerson Hidgon and saw Mega Wash listed as a franchise. Wondering if anyone has any experience working with them.

There is little if any thing you will gain by buying into a franchise in this business, except for a lighter bank account.

Maybe I should have been more clear. Rather than a franchise, Mega Wash acts as a consultant helping to find the best location, building the site and bidding on equipment. I'm new to all this and wonder if going thru them is beneficial rather than doing it on my own.

being new you will need all the help you can get, and paying a consultant is a road few travel, they would rather rely on the word of their seminar/distributor salesman. I would say those investor got a 1 in 8 chance of actually building a store that makes any money, you can narrow those odds down by paying an independent, third party that is not involved in the financial aspect of it, IE, commissions on machines, etc

You asked how I like the book I menitioned. I thought it was incredibly informative. This guy really sounds like he knows his stuff. Well worth the 50 bucks if you're serious about buying or building a mat. Very thouroughl (spelling)
