While analyzing my utility bills versus the same time last year, I was shocked to see an increase of 14% to 28%... ouch!

Meanwhile, in the commodity market, NG has significantly declined in value since last year. In fact, it's at its all time low in quite a few years. Why am I paying more? Is it just in my area (local utility)?

After a discussion with the utility billing rep, there are lots of factors into pricing for gas. Too confusing for me to absorb but here are some details.
