I was approached yesterday by a gentleman that was selling
digital signs. ( These are the ones you see at banks) He was telling me that people who drive by the store take notice to such signs and it would Increase my exposure. Does anyone out there use these type of signs? If so do you think there worth the Investment?

You need to decide for yourself based upon the price and the drive by traffic at your location. Personally I don't think people will read it from the steet unless it's huge and you're at an intersection. I had a manual sign in my window for awhile (you changed out the letters, and the sign was also lighted from the inside), but I don't think it really made a significant difference. I like large banners better.

Well, Azkid kinda said it all in his first two sentences. In addition to that
think a digital sign will draw attention therefore additional customers. We
were looking into a very big digital sign but the cost was just too much
for us right now. Research about digital sign was done at sunitron.com.
I'm in the sign business and I deal with LED signs daily. My opinion is that they are very bright and the red LEDs attract a lot of attention. However, they are very expensive.
I would recommend a neon sign. Still very bright, captures your customers attention and is much cheaper than LEDs. Also, you can get neon signs that flash on and off.
