I am concerned about the cost of operation A.C vs swampcoolers My building has 10tons A.C. available or I can install swampcoolers my concern is the monthly cost to operate. my area is not extremely hot (coastal climate) summertime temps around 80 with a month or so in the 90's and a week or two in the low 100's what do you think?

A/C always feels better since it takes the moisture out of the air. A swamp cooler just puts more moisture in the air.

A swamp cooler will not work in coastal areas with high humidy, they are based on evaporative cooling. Since the air is almost saturated it will do little for you. They are great in areas like Arizona.
