Do anyone have Maytag MAH14PD washers in their shop? If so, what capacity (in pounds) are they? I went thru cover to cover on it's manual and found no mention of the load capacity in pounds.
Same goes for Maytag AC23 double stacked and AMD 285 dryers, and IPSO Big-Mac Triple Load washer.
Some manual describe capacity in Cubic Feet, which is not helpful.

Maybe the CU Inch IS the way to go...
Years ago an 18# machien was considered a double loaders.
Then Dexter came out with a 20# washer, and SQ came out with a "Super20", which was about a 25# capacity machine. The old Milnors were rated at 35#, and I suppose your IPSO triple is a 35# machine also. And the NEPTUNE are rated for 22# I THINK. Now, Dexter has a triple load washer that they label Triple load, yet that MIlnor is a triple load at 35#. Most people have no idea how much thier laundry weighs anyway. IF I ever got the time I was going to use a cart, measure the CU inch of it, then post sign saying one cart equals this machine. I sort of know a cart full of clothes is about a 18-25 pound load. When I am at a store, and people haul tons of stuff in, I tell them to seperate everything as they want in carts,, then try to put it in machines that has a little room left over after they fill it. I do tell them 2 carts is about a 40# washer, 1 is a 20-25#, etc to help them out. I think using a cart for a measure device is so much easier than the poundage crap. Those stack dryers are probably rated for 30 #s, that is standard, as are the 50# dryers. I do not know a AMD, if the basket is about the same, 30#, if much bigger than the stack, 50#. There are some old 25# dryers out there.

Maytag Neptune MAH14 = "double loader" or 18#
ADC 230 and ADC 285 = 30# per pocket
IPSO triple = 30#
