I voted Democrat because:
1. I believe oil companies' profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene, but the Government’s taxing that same gallon of gas at 15% is OK.
2. I believe the Government does a far better job of spending the money I earn than I ever could.
3. I believe that Freedom of Speech is fine, so long as no one is offended by it.
4. I believe I'm way too irresponsible to own a gun, and I know that my local police are all I need to protect me from murderers and thieves.
5. I believe that people who can't tell us if it will rain on Friday can tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in 10 years if I don’t start driving a Toyota Prius.
6. I'm not concerned about the millions of innocent unborn babies being aborted so long as we keep all death row inmates alive (and healthy).
7. I believe illegal aliens have a right to stay here if they successfully sneak in, and to have US citizens pay for their free health care, education, and Social Security benefits.
8. I believe that business should not be allowed to make profits for themselves or their rich shareholders. They need to break even and give away any profits to government for redistribution as the government sees fit.
9. I believe liberal judges need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to pacify a crop of current fringe kooks who would otherwise never get their agendas past the American voters.
10. I believe that it's better to pay billions of dollars for oil to the people who hate us, but not to drill for our own oil because it might upset some air-head environmentalist or upset the mating habits of some endangered beetle, gopher or fish.
11. I believe we live in the greatest, most wonderful country on earth, and I was promised, "HOPE AND CHANGE." (I never was sure what we were supposed to change this wonderful country INTO, but now I see.)
FINALLY:
12. I voted Democrat because I lack self-esteem, can’t think independently for myself and besides – if I’m outside and it begins to rain, I need someone to turn to in order to tell me what to do next.

I voted Republican because:
1. Exon Mobil is only making 43 Billion US dollars on an annual basis and that means they desperately need our hard earned tax dollars for millions more in subsidies and those nasty Democrats want to stop those subsidies.
2. I believe I shouldn't have to pay for police, firefighters, education, military, roads, bridges, tunnels airports or anything else that allows business to thrive in this country unless I feel like it.
3. I believe freedom of speech is fine, unless the truth is told.
4. I believe everybody should own AK 47s, Uzi machine guns and Stingers to police ourselves after firing the police.
5. I believe I know more than the 3000+ Climatologists and scientists that have concluded global warming is real. I mean really, who needs an education in this stuff anyway? Education sucks! Burn down the schools! Fire the teachers!
6. I want to control women because we all know how dumb they are and they really do need a man telling them what to do with their bodies. Hey, wasn't it great Bush went into Iraq and killed over One Million people, including pregnant women and children because, well because... thats how we roll... when it comes to saving lives.
7. I believe we should round up all the suspected illegal aliens and put them in slave camps controlled by big oil because those poor under subsidized oil companies need free labor. Also the right to vote should never be given to any US citizen minority group and we need to take that away right now because we Republicans can't seem to get many of their votes.
8. I believe that businesses shouldn't have to pay wages to workers. It cuts into the profits and why did our party think it was a good idea to end slavery in the first place?
9. I believe we need more activist right wing judges on the bench to reinforce the ones already ignoring the US Constitution. George W Bush and Dick Cheney said it is an outdated document and if they said it, it must be true.
10. I believe we need to continue buying oil through our oil companies in the terrorist states because it is very profitable and we can sell weapons systems to them to bring in even more profits! It is win win. Forget about geothermal energy, wind energy, solar, wave energy and higher mileage cars. That would put people here back to work and workers with money in their pockets can't be good.
11. I believe we lived in the greatest country on earth, until the formation of unions allowed workers to earn a living wage while working in relatively safe environments, allowing them to buy made in USA products. Thankfully we put a stop to that when we started giving massive subsidies to big corporations rewarding them for shutting down plants here and moving to China to take advantage of the subsidies and allow the Chinese to reverse engineer everything so they can eventually throw out the US corporations. Forget about Made in America!
Finally:

I voted Republican because I whack (yes,whack, not lack) self-esteem, like to run with lemmings and sheep, hate women who think for themselves or, as a woman, love to be controlled by men, hate peace, hate black American Presidents, hate workers earning a living wage, hate wilderness areas, hate rational thinking, hate gays, hate free education, hate social security, hate taxes for anything, believe FOX News really is a news network and if it starts raining I will whine about how the weatherman said there was a 95% chance of rain and she/he should have said 100% so I would have known to dress for it.
I voted Republican because:
