Here is a puzzler. I have speed queen front loaders with the computer programmable timer display. SC35EC and SC18EC models. I am trying to program the pre wash time since I just realized that they are not set for pre wash (only in the special wash mode). I would like a pre wash since now during my first wash the water jets into both soap box #1 and #2. When I go into programming mode it only lets me go up to opion 7 which is just for price changes. The option I need to get to is 27. One of my machines allows me to go all the way through the full programmin menu ( up to option 93 or something).

I did actually read the manual and saw something about enhanced and basic manuals but I can't tell how to identify which is which. If my model is basic do I need to have a firmware change done or have a factory tool to change programming.

Thanks in advance for any tips on this.

Hi Darren,

Call Alliance. Their tech support is terrific and they will be able to walk you through what you need to do to get to that option. I have called them many a time and have always been impressed with their service.

I have my 80 pound machines set up for the special wash button set without the pre wash. The other buttons will include a prewash for an additional fee. Also on the special wash button if the customer would like hot water they have to pay an additional .25 cents.
All of my customers are familiar with this set up and the new ones easily figure it out.

Send me an private message with your address and I can send you the advanced programing manual.
