Without tooting my own horn a bit too much I would like to share what is in my view an example of credibility relating to taxes in general in action. This is not a put on or a made up story!
This Monday after depositing & parking at the bank I walked over to the post office & mailed about five payroll & 1099 etc at the post office. Then I walked over to the downtown city-county building to pay our property taxes so to keep them current.
I wrote out the checks... I told the clerk it was nice to be able to take advantage of the discount by paying early enough. Also I expressed appreciation for the fact people paying with credit card would be charged 2.5% to reflect the true cost that was happening.
As we were completing the transaction the long term county auditor Kevin Glatt came over & shook hands with me & called me by my first name respectfully. I asked Kevin if he saw my recent letter with picture to the editor. He said "Yes I did" I asked him if he agreed the letter & with the reality of taxes saved on the federal level even affects the local level throughout the country. He said "It most certainly does emphatically".

Stewardship & support is what is needed.
